I don’t know how many of you feel this way, but here goes.
If an elected government, comprised of presidents, senators, congressmen, governors, mayors, councilmen, etc. all the way down act in ways that DO NOT REPRESENT US, but rather OPPRESSES US, they have lost all legitimacy of their delegated authority.
I believe we are at that point now. I sense a bluff from the powers that be, to test whether we will simply roll over and let them rule as they please or we will block them.
Tertiary to that, you look at these so-called worldwide organizations such as the World Economic Forum or co-opted corporatist leaders. Why do they get to set any type of societal direction for humanity, let alone the lives of individuals? They don’t. Even if they’re the richest people, money doesn’t grant moral credit or leadership.
This is the power of the world, with demonic forces behind it. I know we Christians have a different spiritual world and ideals to live up to. But, while we’re in the world, we should do our part to bring the Kingdom into the world. I don’t know, but this may mean that we stand for all of humanity’s humanity because we are all created in God’s image. And it is getting crushed. Each of us has to decide to what degree of involvement we will take to speak out and/or act out.
The current leaders have NO legitimacy unless we grant it to them and see how they perform. I think it’s time we take things back into our own hands.
I really fear two generations will be lost during this Covid crisis, and I’m saddened and angered by the evil that is being foisted on us in the name of humanity. If you look at all ther coercion and lies and threats, what kind of humanity do they really want for us?
I’m not advocating any type of violence. This will give them exactly what they want–a reason to stomp on us. But we are more powerful than them, and we are more numerous than them.
The above quote describes the regret of the acquiescent ones, and I think the perspective is relevant now.
